EVENTS & COMPETITIONS

WORKSHOPS

 Kosmos has developed several workshops about the different areas related to aerospace sciences, having already presented such workshops in malls, schools and even in the Ágora Tech Park auditorium.

 Today, the team works with workshops about mini rockets, rocket motors and satellites.

 Also, the team participates in other projects, such as competitions, exhibitions in malls or even in event booths, as is the case of the SpaceBR Show, that occurs between May 17 and 19, 2022.

COMPETITIONS

 Over the years, Kosmos has participated in several competitions and being recognized nationally and internationally, winning the following awards:

 Brazilian Mini Rockets Festival

  • 2nd place – Class C (2014)
  • 1st place – Class C (2016)
  • 1st place – 1 km (2017)

 Latin America Space Challenge (2020)

  • 10th place overall competition
  • 4th place – 1km Apogee Solid Combustion
  • Sportsmanship award, due to team engagement during the competition and on social media

 In addition, Kosmos will participate in the world’s greatest university rocket competition, the Spaceport America Cup (SAC) in 2022, with the VLK-1 rocket in the 3 km apogee category.
